House of Maja - Service Agreement

This Service Agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing professional home organising services provided by House of MAJA (“the Provider”) to the Client.

1. Services Provided

House of MAJA offers personalised, holistic home organising services, including but not limited to:

  • Initial Consultation: A tailored session to understand your needs, goals, and space.

  • Decluttering: Mindful sorting, categorising, and removal of unnecessary items.

  • Organising: Implementation of intuitive and functional storage systems.

  • Light Cleaning: Basic surface cleaning in relation to the organising process.

 

 

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and effective session, the Client agrees to:

  • Provide timely and uninterrupted access to the designated space.

  • Clearly indicate items for donation, sale, or disposal.

  • Settle any outstanding balances promptly following services rendered.

 

 

3. House of MAJA Responsibilities

House of MAJA agrees to:

  • Deliver services with professionalism, care, and respect.

  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard your privacy at all times.

  • Treat your belongings with mindfulness and care.

 

 

4. Payment Terms

Payment Methods

  • Payment can be made via direct bank transfer, invoice or cash.

  • Any bank fees or merchant charges incurred are the responsibility of the Client.

 

Session Payment & Invoicing

  • Full payment is due at the end of each session unless otherwise agreed.

  • If any products or materials are sourced, a separate invoice will be issued and is due within 1 business day.

 

Late Payments

  • Payments not received within 5 business days of the invoice date may incur a 10% late fee.

  • If unpaid after 7 business days, debt collection may be initiated, with an additional $200 administrative fee and recovery costs payable by the Client.

  • House of MAJA reserves the right to suspend future services until outstanding balances are resolved.

 

 

5. Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee equal to the deposit.

 

 

6. Travel & Parking

  • Travel within the Sydney Metro area (within 35 km) is included.

  • Locations outside this radius or interstate may incur additional travel fees.

  • Any parking fees (e.g., meter parking) will be charged to the Client as an extra cost.

 

 

7. Dispute Resolution

  • In the unlikely event of a disagreement, both parties agree to resolve disputes amicably through open communication and, if needed, mediation.
